Prof. Dr. Taylan KÜMELİ

One of the Initiators and Profounders of HEALTHY LIVING LIFE STYLE in Turkey, Prof. Dr. Taylan KÜMELİ graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics with honors in 1986. Between 1986 and 1988, she received the title of expert dietician with her work titled "Effects of Food Additives on Human Health" at METU Food Engineering Faculty. Until 1999, she continued her education related to her academic career while working as an expert dietician in various hospitals and institutions in Turkey and abroad.

In August 2000, she founded TKTaylight Nutrition and Consulting Center. In her clinical dietitian studies; she has provided/continues to provide consultancy services to thousands of clients on weight loss - weight gain, nutrition in diseases, nutrition during pregnancy - breastfeeding, nutrition according to age groups, and functional foods. While continuing her clinical dietitian studies; She wrote the books Synthesis Diet - 1/2, The Healthy Side of Life, Nutrition in the Journey of Womanhood, Nutrition for 0 - 18 Years, The Incredible Lightness of Taste, Püf Lokması from Taylan Kümeli, Taytay'ın Diyet Çanta. While thousands of articles she wrote were published in our country and abroad, she participated in scientific content nutrition-related speeches, seminars and workshops in our country and abroad.

In 2015, she started a study called Kids in the Kitchen, which included healthy nutrition workshops for children aged 5 - 11, and education in private and public schools. She continues the same study under the title Mutfaktaki Çocuklar within the Ministry of National Education. She made her own programs for many years on national channels such as TV8, NTV, ATV. Currently, "Püf Lokması from Taylan Kümeli", consisting of 13 episodes, is broadcasted on Bein Gurme TV Channel.

Her articles were published in Milliyet and Sözcü Newspapers for years in her column titled "Püf Lokması from Taylan Kümeli". He currently continues to write in the Saturday supplement of Cumhuriyet Newspaper.

He continues his scientific information with weekly published YouTube videos. He shares nutritional innovations with his followers on Instagram, Twitter, and Taylan Kümeli’den Sağlık Yaşam Facebook pages in daily and weekly periods. He has also started podcast work under the title of "Taste Atlas". Kümeli, who plans to bring a new perspective to nutritional science with his book "Taste Atlas", will soon introduce this new concept to his clients with his Taste Workshops. Taylan Kümeli also gives an 8-week online training called "How to Eat Healthy" at Gedik University.
